Hi my name is Jane Johns and I have been a Doula for the past 12 years. I am a founding member of the Birth Resource Network, now known as San Diego Birth Network. I love helping families through the birth and postpartum journey. I have been DONA trained and became a Lactaiton Educator directly after my Doula training. I feel that the two are stepping stones to each other. It is a wonderful feeling supporting the birth process and empowering women to pull from their natual resources of intuition.
I have recently been focusing on home births, however I still offer my birth and postpartum services in the North County area. I offer free phone triage for lactation and I keep current on all lactation and birth information by attening conferences on a regular basis.
