I believe that birth is the most challenging, rewarding moment in a mom's/couples' life, and I want to help make it a positive event. After working in Labor & Delivery as an R.N. for years, I found that my real passion is for couples becoming parents. Support and education can help the couple have the kind of birth that they desire. I support whatever choices the couple makes for the birth of their baby. Be it at home, in the hospital, a natural, or medicated birth, it is always their choice for the birth of their baby. As a Doula/Montrice, I can check your cervix to see how far dilated you are, to help the couple decide when they are ready to leave for the hospital. I also carry a doppler to listen to the baby and let you know how the baby is tolerating labor. Also available are private Childbirth Classes and private Hypnobirthing classes.
