You begin with your baby and your family surrounded by love. Supported birthing couples feel calm, amazing, good and safe. When you are truly supported in your labor, and in your choices, you have a better, more fulfilling life. Generally I meet with couples twice. In addition to the above preparation, we discuss breastfeeding, infant procedures, and standard birth provider practices. I share my knowledge as a doula to help you during this centering, changing, soulful time. Your body, your partner, and your ability to birth your baby can feel to you like something new yet exciting; challenging, but totally do-able. I am certified through ALACE, and have a B.A. from U.C. Berkeley, where I focused in women's issues, and team-taught a class for women.
