| Birth is an incredible, wonderful beginning in the journey of parenting. Helping families have a positive birth experience is one of my passions.
As a Doula I provide emotional, and physical care and support for mothers, partners and their families as well as information. I respond to mom and dad's needs with encouragement,flexibility and a calming presence. We work together with a variety of techniques to meet your needs for labor and the birth you want. I have supported many births as a Doula including supporting births, helping with breastfeeding and teaching birth classes in the San Diego and in Asia. After an initial no-obligation interview, we meet for one or two prenatal visits. When labor begins, I am present continuously for support during laobr and birth, and then follow up with a postpartum visit. I would love to be part of your labor support team during your birth experience as your Doula. As a Childbirth Educator, I teach group and private classes to help parents prepare for the emotional and physical experience of birth and find the techniques that work best for them. I teach regularly for Best Start Birth Center.
