Birth doula services provided in hospitals, birth centers or homes. Terry is a nurse with 34 years experience, private childbirth educator, certified doula (DONA) and mom of two boys, Robert 22 & Chris 19.

Doula services include free interview, 2 prenatal visits, assistance in writing birth plan, lesson on total body relaxation if desired, continuous physical, emotional and informational support to mothers and families before, during and just after childbirth. Also available are breast feeding assistance and postnatal visit(s). Will write birth story on request.

Terry believes that birth is a natural and beautiful process, and is an advocate for intervention free birth when ever possible. As a veteran of 2 emergency C-sections, she is also sensitive to the needs that arise when intervention becomes a must.
