Birth is an amazing life changing event. I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to share this special time with the moms and families I assist. As a doula, my role naturally is to be a quiet and unobtrusive support person. I use massage, aromatherapy, acupressure, changes in position, and encouraging words to help moms remain calm and reassured during their labor.

Moms intuitively know how to give birth. My role is to trust and support the decisions made by the women I work with. I have attended both home and hospital births and enjoy supporting women wherever they choose to birth their babies.
